Application Principle: Ultrasonic water meter is an all-electronic water meter manufactured by adopting the principle of ultrasonic time difference and industrial grade electronic components. The core components of ultrasonic water meter include ultrasonic transducer (transmitter and receiver). When ultrasonic waves propagate along the direction of water flow, their propagation speed increases; conversely, against the direction of water flow, the propagation speed slows down. By comparing the ultrasonic propagation time with and against the flow, the velocity of the water flow can be calculated. Based on this velocity, combined with the cross-sectional area of the pipe, the flow rate value can be derived. Compared with the mechanical water meter, it has the features of high precision, good reliability, wide range ratio, long service life, no moving parts, no need to set parameters, and installation at any angle.
